Co-Parenting Counseling in California

Helping divorced, separated, or uncoupling parents develop an effective plan to support their children.
Is it difficult to imagine how you will continue to parent your children after separating? Do emotions run so high that's it feels impossible to communicate at all?
Fortunately, there's one thing you can both agree on: you want what's best for your children.

That's exactly where co-parenting counseling comes in.

With the right strategies in place, there is a way to communicate productively with your co-parent, keeping you children and their needs at the center of it all.
The Shared Parenting Support Program (SPSP), a research-backed model for co-parenting counseling, offers a structured approach to channeling the high emotions of divorce and separation into productive communication skills.
Over the Course of 12-15 sessions, the three of us will work together to develop and execute a plan that is focused on what is best for your children.

I'll guide you and your co-parent through:
  • Evaluating and identifying parenting skills
  • Defining shared and individual parenting goals
  • Learning structured communication techniques
  • Practicing co-parenting skills

Each of you undoubtedly brings your own history and emotions into this process. Co-parenting counseling is about helping you learn to set those things aside for the benefit of your children.
Together, we will create a path forward that fosters a positive relationship between you and your child, with a co-parent who supports that. Your children deserve that, and so do you.
